Maria’s office job was truly a dream come true. She enjoyed her job, but lately, however, she was having some problems at work. Her boss, Theresa, had been complaining about the many errors that Maria made in her typing. The main issue was grammar, although Maria’s spelling wasn’t the best either. Maria asked Theresa about purchasing software that could do spelling and grammar checking as she typed so she could make the needed adjustments. Her employer agreed that this would be an excellent asset to the company. Maria showed immediate improvement in both her spelling and grammar skills. Although a spelling and grammar checker may not seem like much, it literally saved Maria’s job.
